Coole Community is a space for you to come as you are. To highlight the importance of Mental Health and not only allowing room to take care of yourself in the busyness of our modern lives- but prioritising it. To release the shame, guilt, and “selfishness” of putting yourself first and deciding to truly follow your own path and passions- giving yourself what you need and not being afraid to ask for it, stand for it, and believe in it. It is a space for you to explore the truth of the impact and importance you and your life holds (even if you don’t feel like it). It is a community for you to hold all the parts of yourself- from the messy bits you may try and hide to the parts you are most proud. This is a safe space here and the whole of you is welcome.
Feel free to join the community on Instagram (@coole_community) and to use the Coole Community Check-In feature on the website!
Just alike ourselves, this is a space that is in continual evolution. I look forward to growing alongside each other.
Who I do it for
My mum aka mumma bear aka muuuuuuuuummmmmm aka Leanne Young Coole.
My mum was (is) the most gorgeous, selfless, beautiful, hardworking, magnetic, intelligent, brilliant human-woman-teacher-mum I have ever met. Her radiant soul blessed so many lives and it fills me with joy and pride to still hear of her impact even to this day- more than a decade after she has passed. Two books with mum as a main inspiration have been published/are in the process of being published (not by me!), songs created in her name, and she herself was a writer and changed many lives with what she shared and taught. It is a testament to the person she was (is) that if given the choice I would rather have only got to have her as my mum for the special fifteen years that I did rather than have any other person as my mother even if they were to live well into old age. If I can become even a quarter of the woman she was (is) I will be so extremely proud. She is my inspiration, the one I attempt to make proud, and my reason for striving in life. She is the reason I am who I am and all that is good within me comes from her. I am in complete admiration of the woman I get to call my mum. Mum used to say that some children choose their parents and I would choose her again and again in every lifetime.
To know her was (is) to love her.
(She is also the one that created the logo that I am using- her own design that has much more meaning than I can ever express)
